Grab your journal and copy down the following:
Today I choose to focus on shifting my thoughts to thoughts that feel better. Any time I notice my thoughts drifting away into the negative, I make a conscious effort to change them. I allow myself to release any tension in my body and fully relax in the knowing that I am allowing my well-being in this very moment.
Any time I notice my thoughts becoming negative, I recognise that they are not serving me. I understand that these thoughts are trying to keep me safe, so I thank them and release them with love and gratitude.
Now, spend the next 5-10 minutes scripting about how your day would look if you were totally recovered.
Try to only focus on the progress. Don't focus on the symptoms that remain. Once you have finished, let the details go and try not to feel disappointed you are not yet totally healed. Trust that as you take the time to feel and remain in higher emotional states, you are allowing your well-being to flow.
