Grab your journal and answer the following questions.

1) What beliefs or expectations do you have about the timeframe of your recovery process? Are you placing too much pressure on yourself to heal quickly, or do you have a belief that healing should take a long time?

2) Do you feel that your illness or condition defines you?Perhaps you have become identified with this condition.

3) Are there any fears you have about fully healing? This may sound crazy! However, there may be a part of you that feels a little afraid of what it would feel like to fully recover.
