Practitioner Code of Ethics

I vow to:

• Treat all clients equally, no matter their beliefs, culture or circumstances. I will always treat you with respect and dignity, and will respect your privacy.

• Hold as the highest priority the well-being of my clients.

• Operate within the scope of my practice as a professional and never claim to diagnose, treat, cure or prescribe in any way unless I am licensed to do so. I perform only those services for which I am qualified, representing my education, certifications, professional affiliations, and other qualifications accurately.

• Abide by applicable laws governing my healthcare services.

• Make referrals to other practitioners when and as appropriate, especially when their needs are outside of the scope of my practice or ability.

• Have all clients sign an appropriate intake form before working with them.

• Take full responsibility for my actions as a practitioner.

• Ensure my clients have medical clearance before we begin working together.
