Recovery cannot start while the nervous system believes you are in danger.

The first step is learning how to feel safer in your body again. You’ll understand why your symptoms persist, how fear and hyper-vigilance keep them going, and how to begin calming your nervous system without monitoring or checking sensations.

This step helps you move out of survival mode and into a state where change is actually possible.

2. TAKING RESPONSIBILITY AND DITCHING HARMFUL LABELS
